The school was purpose built and opened in 1981. We occupy a modern brick built single storey building. There is access for wheelchairs to the classroom areas and provision of a disabled toilet. Extensive building work took place in 2003 to enhance Key Stage Two working areas.
Close to the building, on two sides, there is a large tarmac playground and this is surrounded by extensive fenced playing fields for the use of all of the children. A dedicated garden area designed and looked after by the children at Holley Park is located on one of the fields.
Our main entrance door has a magnetic security lock and all visitors must report to the main office window in the entrance area before admittance is gained. All visitors will be given a visitor badge to wear during their stay.
The two doors to the schoolyard are kept locked during lesson time, although both doors are easily opened inside in case emergency exit is required. At least two members of staff are on duty at all playtimes.
