Our school uniform in royal blue and grey is strongly recommended. We recognise that children need comfortable, but hard wearing clothes for school.
The children are asked to wear royal blue sweatshirts or jumpers over pale blue or white polo shirts and plain grey trousers or skirts. Blue and white gingham dresses may be worn by girls in the Summer term.
High quality school sweatshirts with the school logo and cotton polo shirts with the school logo are available via order forms from the school office.
For health & safety reasons we ask that children wear plain black sensible, flat heeled shoes for school, trainers and boots are not suitable for wearing throughout the school day.
In wet weather children need indoor and outdoor shoes. The Head Teacher has the right to prohibit the wearing of certain types of clothing or particular items which are deemed on safety or other grounds, to be unsuitable for wear in school.
Denim jeans and chinos are not suitable clothing and should not be worn.
School P.E. Uniform of royal blue T-shirt and navy shorts should be provided for P.E. Lessons. Children are expected to change for every P.E. Lesson. Trainers or plimsolls should be provided to change into for outdoor P.E.
All children are expected to join in P.E. Lessons. Exceptions are only made when a medical certificate or note is provided.
School Aims
Holley Park aims to be a happy place where children are encouraged to develop confidence in their own ability, work collaboratively, show tolerance and be polite and caring towards others.
At Holley Park each child should receive a broad education incorporating the teaching of skills and knowledge to promote their understanding of the world in which they live.
We aim to provide a welcoming, cheerful and stimulating environment in which all can successfully learn.
Our school aims to continually encourage and develop working relationships between home, school and the local community.
There are two breaks during each day: a 15 minute morning break from 10.15 - 10.30am, and a 10 minute afternoon break from 2.10 - 2.20pm. Children are allowed to enter their classes at 8.45am on the understanding that they sit quietly with their friends or occupy themselves purposefully.
